Sissinghurst Castle Gardens & Great Dixter House & Gardens

Sissinghurst Castle Gardens, including the famous’ White Garden’, were created by 1920s writer Vita Sackville-West and her husband Sir Harold Nicolson. We have time to explore and enjoy refreshments in the café.

This afternoon we visit Great Dixter House & Gardens the birth place and home of gardening writer the late Christopher Lloyd and boasts one of the largest surviving timber-framed halls in the country. The gardens are now the hallmark of Christopher Lloyd, with a variety of clipped topiary, wild meadow flowers, mixed borders and the exuberant Exotic Garden.
